BUILDING THE COMMERCIAL GYM AT BEACONSFIELD FITNESS
John Winterburn entered the store in December 2021, initially inquiring about a home gym fit-out to train many of his clients from home during the lockdown period. He previously purchased a CX2 functional trainer, benches, and weights. He was blown away by the customer service, quality, and value of the gym equipment we supplied.
When served by Chris from our Keysborough store, John enquired about the potential plan to buy an existing gym and upgrade all equipment. He expressed his many concerns with Chris, and to ease those concerns, Chris showed John our Commercial range in-store. We had a Reeplex Commercial 3 Station Multi-Gym assembled in store, and John jumped on to feel the cable system and quality of the equipment. The 3 Station Gym included a Lat Pulldown, Chest press, Let extension, Leg curl, and Cable system all in one. After jumping on the machine, this gave him a good idea of the functionality of the Reeplex Commercial pin-loaded machines.
Selecting The Right Location For A Gym is Vital
Skip forward to February 2022, and John planned to take over a 720m2 existing gym. After much communication, he took the leap and upgraded the entire pin-loaded area, incorporating almost all of the Reeplex pin-loaded commercial range. Starting with a pin-loaded leg extension to the pin-loaded rear fly and all the machines in between. The Reeplex commercial pin-loaded range features an aesthetic black/grey finish that fits into any commercial space. Including heavy-gauge commercial steel and easy-to-use weight stacks, John was more than impressed with the quality of the commercial range. Installing the entire range himself, he knew exactly how these machines were built but also stayed in close contact with the team at Dynamo regarding any questions.
Being only 30 minutes away from the Keysborough store created that personal touch. Knowing Dynamo Fitness isn’t just an online retailer but a physical team he can contact. This made the journey that much easier.
An upgrade for a gym the size of 720m2 had to be attended to in stages. In the first stage, John replaced many pin-loaded machines in February 2021. The next step was upgrading the 5 Station Jungle gym and Barbells in May 2022. Fast forward to November 2022, and we are still working closely with John to fit out his Plate loaded area.
Commercial Pin-Loaded Gym Equipment
Jump-starting John’s upgrade, the pin-loaded range was the perfect starting point. The Reeplex commercial pin-loaded range is made for every gym, having easy accessibility and a user-friendly layout. The pin-loaded range will benefit all users.
The fundamental piece to every gym fit-out is a Jungle Gym. John selected the 5 Station Jungle Gym due to this piece’s high level of functionality. Including a sleek black/grey powder coating finish, the Jungle Gym oozes elegance. This equipment is vital for every gym with multiple stations for five users, providing a Lat pull-down station, rowing station, push-down station and 2x adjustable cable systems.
Commercial Plate Loaded Gym Equipment
Amping up his upgrade, John progressed to the commercial plate-loaded range. He started with the staple 45 Degree Leg Press and Hip Thrust Machine for all the lower body workouts. The next step is incorporating the Fixed bench presses for the Free weight area. Included in every Reeplex Plate loaded machine, they feature double stitching upholstery, a two-tone powder coating finish, commercial grade steel, commercial HD bolts, and locknuts.
The plate-loaded range is ideal for beginners and even the most advanced athletes. You will constantly be challenged with the customisable weights you can stack and the range of motion all the machines provide.
Free Standing Functional Rig
Winterburn fit-out included the Reeplex 4-cell freestanding rig. Rigs are the ultimate addition to any gym. This particular rig was chosen to provide multiple users access. With a freestanding rig, you can have one person on each side of the rig to utilise two squat racks from the same freestanding rig.
The Reeplex commercial rigs feature laser-cut numbering for easy J hook adjustment, textured black powder coating finish and close-hole spacing for perfect barbell racking positions.
Gym Accessories
The ultimate gym isn’t complete without Gym Accessories. John includes all the necessities Reeplex Medicine balls, Power Bags and storage units. Maintaining a streamlined approach, he kept all his upgrades to the Reeplex commercial range.
The power bags are the perfect free weight to challenge any exercise, whether it’s simple squats or something more challenging like lunges. These power bags are visually appealing and highly durable with Vinyl rip-proof covers, dual handles with double stitching and various colour schemes. The same quality you would get from the entire Reeplex range.

The upgrade is still being completed, however, with the pin-loaded range, you will note how aesthetic and polished John’s new gym takeover is. With 720m2 to play with, the options are endless, featuring nearly every piece of gym equipment in the Reeplex commercial range. This gym is unstoppable!
